Last Friday we learned about Caine's Cardboard Arcade. Check out the follow up video to see what has happened to him in the years that followed and how he continues to inspire creativity around the world.
Over the break you shouldn't have any work to do if you are all caught up on your sketch assignments and past work. If you are missing anything in the grade book make sure you turn it in ASAP.

Today in class we warmed up by designing possible art work for the cover of the band/orchestra concert program. Continue to work on your designs. I will accept drawings until Friday for quiz credit!
We are continuing our Principles of Design book project. Remember to follow the guidelines given to you in class. If you need special materials for your project cover email me and I will do my best to get what you are looking for. I will be out Thursday and Friday at the Georgia Art Educator's Conference. Make sure you are using your class time to complete any missing assignments and to work on your Principles project. You should have at least 3 of your pages completed by Friday! Don't forget you also have a sketch due Monday. Anyone who is below failing should have received a list from me of missing assignments. You can also check student vue. Remember that partial credit is better than a zero! Get your work turned in ASAP! The first 5 students to email me and say you were on the blog and saw this surprise post will receive a treat.
